As you can see from the pic I got about half of the 50 seeds to germinate. I am very happy with that. I very much recommend this product. I love tomatoes but have never reied this kind. Excited.
Photo: currant tomatoes vs cherry tomatoes for size.These are super sweet, firm, not very seedy. My son tells everyone they pop in your mouth, which is kind of true. These have totally replaced cherry tomatoes for me for snacking!
Just tried them and I do like the taste, obviously very similar to a cherry tomato. I'm excited to put these in salads and pasta salads. The spoon in my picture is a regular cereal spoon for reference.
I appreciate how forgiving these seeds are. Even beginners can enjoy a successful harvest.
They shipped fast, which was necessary for me, because I was already a little behind in planting them. I quickly planted them in a few leftover pods we had on hand. These little guys germinated quickly! This is the progress at 11 days! I will continue to update, but so far I am impressed with how many seeds germinated. My husband counted over 40 little plants. We have not had the best of luck this year with planting, so I am so excited they seem to be fairing well so far. We live in Iowa (zone 5). Excited to see how they progress!
